Prophet Margin

Prophet Margin is the first release from Workproduct. The short film is a playfully provocative look at modern mythology, and the worlds oldest profession. Set in mid 20th century, Prophet Margin tells the story of a young girl who visits a church to seek holy redemption. Upon meeting a nun, she is shown a side of herself she didn’t know existed. This film seeks to question the conventions of capitalism, religion, sexuality and modern political ideals.

“Religion convinced the world that there’s an invisible man in the sky who watches everything you do. And there’s 10 things he doesn’t want you to do or else you’ll to a burning place with a lake of fire until the end of eternity. But he loves you! …And he needs money! He’s all powerful, but he can’t handle money!” – Patron Saint George Carlin

And a special thanks to everyone who made this film possible!
